CommuniCare allows workers to create time-based alarms for different jobs to generate reminder calls in addition to the service provided by eDefender.

For individuals facing more acute risk scenarios CommuniCare is a secure touch tone phone based service which provides reassurance and support for mobile personnel. The technology enables staff to advise on their specific whereabouts and how long they are likely to be there.

Furthermore Argyll Telecom has "automatic" call back and escalation procedures which are invoked if they fail to meet their "log-out" times. The service is bolstered by a 24 hour staffed control room.

Staff are also provided with 'eDefender' which enables them to call for help from people who actually know where they are at that time. This provides vital staff reassurance, particularly during any out of hours periods.
